Platonic Dome

Geodesic objects create the shape of a sphere – yet they consist only of straight lines and flat surfaces. The roundness of the sphere only emerges in the viewer’s imagination, based on their life experience. The symbolic spherical form is forgotten and imagination runs free.

The play of two-dimensional projections on the three-dimensionally arranged surfaces of the dome helps to escape the platonic nature of the object. An experience that shows how fluidly outer and inner reality merge – a fascinating play with the boundaries of truth.
